HTC Vox S710

HTC Vox S710

The ‘S710’ is a similar story: previously codenamed the ‘Vox’, it has been turning up on blogs for nearly a month. Not that there is anything wrong with the device itself since it is possibly the most phone-like thumbboard slider yet and packs in a 201MHz OMAP 850 CPU, 64MB RAM, a 2.4in 240 x 320 screen, EDGE and wireless b/g. Couple this with up to seven hours talk time and Windows Mobile 6 installed as default and it looks great:… just unsurprising.

Finally we have the P3350 which is simply a P3300 (previously Artemis) without the integrated GPS. Like the S710 has a 201MHz CPU, 64MB RAM and EDGE plus a larger 2.8in screen. On the downside there’s no WiFi and the battery life is good for a more typical four hours of talk time.

All three devices are set to appear in early Q2 and I’m sure they’ll make the world a better place – but only slightly.
